We don't know the driver's pre-drunk decisions, and I don't want some drunk guy deciding whether to endanger my family. I want the sober guy, the bartender, to decide. You talk about each person being responsible for what they do, yet want to absolve a person selling a highly dangerous drug from being responsible for the results of that sale. It just makes no sense.
